Members are asked to take on one of these roles. Each applicant chooses their top three. The jobs are then assigned based on a first come basis. Before applying for membership, please read these.
General Coordinator: Plan agenda for monthly board meetings. Answer general questions. Add events to the website.
Assist Gen. Coordinator: Help the General Coordinator.
Treasurer: Maintain bank account, collect dues, pay for field trips, reimburse for parties.
Teen Night Coordinators: Coordinate all monthly teen nights, book venues, and send invitations through the website.
Newsletter Coordinator: Send monthly email newsletters to members.
New Family Contact: Help recruit new members, welcome new families and assist with their questions.
Party Director: Contact those coordinating the party to "get the ball rolling"; assist party planners.
Party Committee: Help plan a fun party/event for All Saint's Day, Epiphany, Valentine's Day or Track & Field Day.
Project Fair: Plan a gathering at Epiphany where kids can showcase their best projects of the year. The only ‘requirement’ is that it takes longer than one sitting to complete their project.
Field Trip Committee: A group of moms who plan and organize the monthly field trips for the year. Set up the event and add it to our private calendar. Field trip ideas include, but are not limited to: theaters, museums, tours of businesses, etc.
Room Reservations: Coordinate with Epiphany to reserve rooms for meetings, Teen Nights, and parties. Make sure that you receive a confirmation email from the office, for the space.
Care Ministry: Set up Meal Trains (we’ve used them in the past) or other necessary support for families in need. Ex: family illness, new baby, etc.
Social Media Coordinator: Manage and organize ECHO's Facebook & Instagram accounts. Promote our group and respond to social media inquiries. Update our google group with new member emails. Initiate discussions on slack.
Board Members: This is a board of 5 people (but open to more if there is interest). These people commit to a few meetings per year to help plan, organize, and make decisions about the future of ECHO.
